Our current work includes both the urban residential projects which has characterized our practice thus far, including three apartment renovations in Manhattan and custom office furniture, and several projects which will expand on that scope. We are nearing completion on a feasibility study for a large project in Manhattan for a Swiss client. At the same time, we are in the early stages of design for a new town house to be built on an empty lot in Harlem formerly owned by the secretary for the Black Panthers. The townhouse will include a full garden with adjacent ground floor studio space, two rental units and an upper level maisonette for the building's owners. The design integrates plantlife as part of the facade strategy, while the organization of the building as a whole plays off a single run stair along the party wall which runs the entire depth of the building. A small house in Germany rounds out the current projects.
